About Us

Ken Begg Nursery Sales, is a horticulture distributor, suppling quality plant material throughout Canada and the United States. In 1988 Ken Begg founded this company with his love of plants combined with his natural sales ability.

He passed down his love and knowledge to his daughter Carolyn. She has maintained quality and service and developed the business into what it is today.

Favorite Plants

Ken Begg ~ Ken has always loved plants. At an early age Ken would press wild flowers between pages of books. Help his Grandmother tend her garden and assist her with the exotic orchids. Later attending Niagara Parks School of Horticulture and working for Vineland research where he further his fascination in the rhododendron breeding program.

Carolyn Begg ~ She can’t decide between her love affair with all Japanese maples, the Gingko with all its grandeur. The Dawn Redwood always causes her to pause. The magnificent Beech tree has so many secrets to share. There is something protective in the Great Canadian North with the Thuja occentailis or a stretched out white pine over the lake. Perhaps the ever giving nature of her container Lemon Tree. They all offer something special to our world around us.
